Instagram users may ask you to answer anonymous questions in their Stories. Instagram users can see who watches their Stories, and your username is linked to poll and Q&A replies. Why?
NGL allows you generate URLs for anonymous social media input. NGL allows your followers to answer or pose questions without revealing their identities, but also gives “hints” about your identity if they pay, so be careful.

NGL’s “world-class AI content moderation” filters out “harmful language and bullying.”
NGL’s technology can recognise the semantic meaning of emojis, and its web scraper retrieves contextual samples. We keep on trend, understand jargon, and filter out the bad things.
Internet users excel at “the bad stuff,” but you can judge NGL’s toxicity (it let me send a “you suck” message to myself). How to share secrets on Instagram.

App store
NGL is not an official Instagram feature; you must download the app (Opens in a new window). The programme requests your Instagram username after download. You can use any Instagram handle without a password. NGL accepted my personal and PCMag’s usernames.
NGL didn’t comment on how the software works, but it seems to generate URLs. You enter an Instagram handle so NGL can scrape the profile image and name that appears in your Stories.
The NGL app was built for Instagram, although the URL can be shared publicly or privately. Snapchat has been removing anonymous apps. On a computer, the link opens in a browser where individuals can input responses.
NGL Link Creation
Linking is required to ask questions. Tap Get Questions! in NGL and enter your Instagram username. Tap copy link once found. Tap the smiling face symbol, select the Link sticker, and enter your URL.
Your Stories viewers will see the NGL link like any other. If they click and send a question or react to one you posed, their communications will go to your NGL mailbox.
Tap the Upload! button in the NGL app to auto-generate a template you can share to your Instagram story.
NGL Response Checking
NGL will alert you when someone uses the link. Tap the NGL app’s Inbox tab to view messages. Unmarked letters represent inbox messages. Opening a letter displays click-throughs. Replying will lead you to Instagram, where you can post a Story or a private message if you know who sent it.
Anonymous NGL?
Who sent anonymous message? Tap Who sent this in NGL. Unlock to buy NGL’s “hints” about who sent the message. On the iPhone, NGL Pro cost $9.99 a week; the App Store describes a “lower tier” option for $1.99 or $6.99.
We didn’t upgrade to view the app’s hints. In the next few weeks, the app’s FAQ says, “over the next few weeks we’ll introduce more specific hints that make it easier to figure out who sent the message.” Remember that while you post on NGL.
NGL App Deletion
Eliminate the app’s account and the app from your phone to delete its history. You can’t establish an NGL account without the Pro version. Log out. NGL says logging out deletes messages permanently.
Tap Settings > Remove Account > Yes, erase account to delete NGL or generate a link using an other Instagram handle. NGL will lead you back to the welcome screen, where you can sign in. Close the app.
