Sony Pictures India has asked Google to delete 34 URLs. That are suspected of violating copyright law. Despite the fact that these pages are hosted on Sony’s Liv platform; which is owned by Sony, the practise remains popular.
Sony Liv, a branded streaming service that runs in India and the United States.
Despite the fact that her service is officially licenced. She nevertheless receives a significant number of copyright infringement accusations. Some of which come from within her own organisation.
Several firms have complained that Sony Liv is a pirate service. Including those from Shoopte Film, Multi Screen Media and Cricket Australia.
Torrent Freak adds that at least two of the URLs on the list were removed from Sony Liv. Despite Google being able to identify the majority of these complaints as being erroneous.
Because of the sheer number of websites, it is inevitable that copyright reports will be automated to some degree. AI may need to be tweaked when a firm accuses its websites of infringement. IMDb’s page for the Cold Courage series even covered Sony’s news.
