Samsung unveiled the 5G Galaxy A23 on Friday (5th), after multiple leaks. The variation provides slight modifications to the 4G model in addition to 5G compatibility.
According to GSMArena, the Snapdragon 695 replaces the Snapdragon 680. Qualcomm’s processor may include 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, expandable to 1TB with a microSD card.
The 4G version is used the same 6.6-inch LCD display. The transmission rate on the display may be lowered from 90 Hz to 60 Hz, although the South Korean company has not verified this.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G’s camera array has 50MP OIS, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses. 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The new Samsung Galaxy A23 has a 5,000 mAh battery and 25W rapid charging, according to the company. The datasheet includes One UI 4.1 with Android 12, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1.
Samsung hasn’t announced the availability or pricing of the Galaxy A23 5G, but it’s expected to reach India and Europe shortly. The A23 4G launched in Brazil in March for R$ 1,999.

Samsung hasn’t revealed the Galaxy A23 5G’s processor. Geekbench data say it’s the Snapdragon 695, which has a 15% faster CPU and 30% better GPU.The 695 was debuted with the Snapdragon 680 that powers the Galaxy A23 (4G), however its hardware is more newer (the CPU uses Kryo 660 cores vs. Kryo 265, i.e. A78/A55 vs. A73/A53).
The phone has 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage (up to 1TB). This phone comes with Android 12 and OneUI 4.1, like its 4G sister.
The Galaxy A23 5G has a 6.6″ FHD+ LCD screen, same as the 4G phone. that one boasted 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5, but published specifications don’t confirm or refute whether the 5G model had them. The 8MP selfie camera (f/2.2) is located in the “Infinity-V” notch.
