Less than 48 hours before Apple’s “Far Out” event, where the firm is likely to announce iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8, AirPods Pro 2, and an extreme sports Apple Watch Pro. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports that Apple has created special bands and faces for the Apple Watch Pro.
Gurman tweeted that upcoming Apple Watch Pro bands would have an extreme sports theme. Apple Watch Pro buyers will have access to unique watchbands.
In addition, Apple may design these watch bands similarly to the ones it does with Nike. Apple sells Hermès watchbands. Gurman has indicated existing watch bands won’t fit well with Apple Watch Pro.
The writer also believes that new watch faces for the Pro model would display fitness statistics. If accurate, Apple has developed watch faces for specific Apple Watch models before.
Only the cellular Apple Watch has a “Explorer” face, let alone Nike and Hermès.

Design
Many of the modifications to this new smartwatch will be visible, not only under the shell, and seem meant to boost its endurance.
Gurman says the new watch might be cast in titanium and feature a shatter-resistant display. The screen will also be bigger. With all these modifications, the new watch will be easily recognisable and better suited for severe circumstances.
The new watch is presumably aimed at folks who love extreme sports and would otherwise buy a Garmin Fenix 7.
Possible Features
The Apple Watch Pro is likely to offer the same functionality as the Apple Watch Series 8, but from a bigger, more robust case.
Apple Watch Series 8 models may get a temperature sensor that may detect a user’s elevated body temperature. The temperature sensor will likely indicate variations, not exact temperatures.
The Apple Watch won’t be as precise as a thermometer that measures core body temperature. Apple may use this first for fertility planning and monitoring.
Next-generation Apple Watch and iPhone models may contain a vehicle collision warning technology that measures an increase in gravitational pull. Apple Watch might automatically phone 911 after a collision.
Apple is working on a S8 processor for the Apple Watch Series 8 models, although current evidence suggests it won’t offer many performance gains over the S7. There are rumours about activity tracking upgrades, but details aren’t available.
Price
The Apple Watch Pro’s bigger case and titanium shell will be expensive. It’s estimated to cost $900 to $999, more than the $849 titanium Apple Watch Edition.
Apple will offer the Apple Watch Pro alongside the Apple Watch Series 8, which will be priced similarly to the Series 7. The Apple Watch Pro may replace the titanium Apple Watch Edition devices.
Series 8 and SE2 Apple Watch
Apple is also working on two more Apple Watch versions besides the Pro. Apple Watch Series 8 will have the same design, size, and internal components as the prior iteration. This year’s model adds a body temperature sensor.
Apple is likely to preserve the same design and sensors for the Apple Watch SE 2, but add a speedier CPU.
Last-minute rumours say Apple may release a cheaper Apple Watch for kids and teens. Maybe Apple will preserve the first-generation Apple Watch SE as a cheaper option.
