The Asus Zenphone 9 is a compact phone that doesn’t sacrifice power and performance. It has the latest flagship processor, high-end cameras, and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
First, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. That’s the same processor as the ROG Phone 6. Up to 16GB of RAM could boost performance, albeit the base model has 6GB. The phone has 256GB of internal storage.
Asus Zenphone has gimbal-like cameras. The lenses can adjust up to +/- 3 degrees to offer smoother films and photos while moving. This is a big improvement from the Zenphone 8’s 1 degree.
Asus’ main camera has a 50-megapixel f/1.9 sensor. This lens has 6-axis hybrid OIS/EIS. A 12-megapixel ultrawide camera takes macro photos. The phone has a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
If you’re tired of large flagships, the Zenphone 9’s 5.9-inch 1080p, 120Hz OLED panel could be a good option.
ASUS included 30W quick charging and an adapter with the 4,300mAh battery.
Asus will sell the Zenphone 9 unlocked in the US, although the date is unknown. The pricing is unknown, however the phone will launch in Europe for €799 ($800), so we assume the same in the US.
